Our new Weehawken apartments are hosting Food Trucks On The Move this month!
Let the food come to you at RiverHouse 11! Food Trucks On The Move has organized food trucks to come to our community every Tuesday in November, starting this week. So check outside anytime after 5:30 p.m. to get your grub on. Here’s the list of the food trucks on the schedule:
11/6 | The Guac Spot
The Guac Spot is a family-owned food truck based in New Jersey and headed up by an avocado-obsessed husband & wife team, John & Syl. Promising “Artfully-crafted Avocado Inspired Eats”, their guacamole is all-natural with delicious chunks of tasty avocado and veggie goodness in each scoop. They use only 100% Hass avocados, no starches or fillers, just delicious, green, creamy deliciousness. The truck offers a unique and always evolving, avocado-inspired menu, including chips & guac (of course), avocado toast, candied-apple pork tacos, drunken jerk chicken nachos, and the adventurous coconut cupcakes with avocado buttercream, and keeps going with more options than you can shake an avocado at.
11/13 | Good Food = Good Mood
The Good Food = Good Mood food truck is run by husband and wife team Dean and Emily, who have always had a passion for food. Graduates of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, they know that food can really affect someone’s mood. The goal is for customers to walk away in a “Good Mood” from indulging in their “Good Food”. They make good on their goal of making mouths happy with elevated American fare including burgers, truffle fries, Parmesan rice balls, crispy mac and cheese and more.
11/20 | Chick Wings & Things
With Chick Wings & Things, their name says it all. They bring it with an amazing variety of chicken wings, delicious BBQ pulled pork, buffalo chicken sliders, fries and more. If you’re looking for decadent pub-type grub right at your door, make a note on your calendar; this is the food truck for you.
11/27 Cubano Xpress
This food truck run by Henry Sanchez doles out delicious taste of Cuba and the Caribbean. A chef for over 25 years, Henry’s passion for food started in The Culinary Institute of America and expanded through the years as an executive chef from NYC to Miami Beach, among others. Cubano Xpress was inspired by his time in Miami and invites all comers to embark on a journey through flavors of the Caribbean. The headliner is the Cubano, a pressed sandwich of roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles on Cuban bread with mustard and a drizzle of mojito sauce, but other tasty highlights on the menu include fried plantains with sofrito mayo, ham croquettes and yuca fries.
So mark your calendar for food truck Tuesdays in November at RiverHouse 11. And, after your delicious meal, schedule your tour and start living life to the fullest at our Weehawken apartments.
